Indonesian Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto, received the prestigious honor of Bintang Bhayangkara Utama from Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, at the Rupatama Building, National Police Headquarters in Jakarta, on Thursday (20/6).
Prabowo arrived at the Rupatama Building at 14:30 WIB, wearing a gray suit and a black peci, and was welcomed with a red carpet. He was greeted by a guard of honor and accompanied by female police officers riding horses as part of the welcoming ceremony.
Inside the Rupatama Building, Prabowo was briefed about the history of the Indonesian National Police before the ceremony commenced with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem and the reading of the presidential decree confering the award.
The honor, Bintang Bhayangkara Utama, was awarded to Prabowo in recognition of his contributions to enhancing security in Indonesia and his support for the development of the police force.
During the ceremony, the Chief of Police personally pinned and draped the honor on Prabowo, followed by a photo session, a salute, and precision greetings.
The award ceremony was attended by distinguished guests including the Deputy Chief of Police, Commissioner General Agus Andrianto, and other high-ranking police officials. Representatives from the Ministry of Defense, including the Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General TNI Muhammad Herindra, and the Head of Public Relations, Brigadier General TNI Edwin Adrian Sumantha, also congratulated Prabowo on his achievement.
