Iwan Bule Berharap Suara Prabowo-Gibran Akan Terdengar di Pangandaran

Pilkada – The democratic party held every five years for the election of Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates in Indonesia is approaching. The fifth presidential debate will be held today with the theme of Education, Health, Employment, Culture, Information Technology, Social Welfare, and Inclusion.

The advisory council of the Prabowo-Gibran TKN, Mochamad Iriawan or familiarly known as Iwan Bule, stated that with the upcoming Presidential and Vice-Presidential elections, it is a challenge for the winning team to ensure the victory of the Presidential candidate number 2 in West Java during the campaign period.

“During the past 10 days, I, as a DPR RI Legislative Candidate for West Java X Pangandaran, Ciamis, Banjar, and Kuningan, am currently working to ensure the victory of our Presidential candidate in West Java, especially in East Priangan,” said Iwan, after visiting community leaders in Pangandaran on Sunday (2/4/2024).

Iwan stated that as the Chairman of the Bappilu Gerindra Party in West Java, he is optimistic about the ability of Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto in the upcoming fifth debate. “God willing, Prabowo will be able to master the debate with this theme. God willing,” he said.

According to Iwan, the fifth Presidential debate should focus on conveying vision-mission and not attacking each other personally. “The debate should focus on conveying the vision-mission, attacking personally or provoking emotions should not happen in a debate,” he said.

He hopes that the presidential candidates will not attack personally because it can provoke emotions. “If someone is not personally cornered, they will not be disturbed. But if the debate involves personal matters, it is not a true debate,” he said.

Iwan said that in a debate, it should present vision-mission based on the debate theme, not other matters because the people are intelligent and capable of choosing.

“The vision-mission presented will be needed by the people. We hope that in the debate, we can explore the vision-mission about education, welfare. That’s our hope. I am sure he (Prabowo) is ready,” he said.

Optimistic about Winning 60 Percent of Indonesian People’s Votes

Iwan said that the national survey results obtained for the Prabowo-Gibran pair have reached more than 50 percent. “We hope that in Pangandaran, the results will be the same as in other districts/cities in Indonesia, which is more than 50 percent,” he said.

He believes that the target of winning Presidential Candidate number 2 can reach more than 60 percent, even up to 62 percent. “We still have time to make more effort. We are optimistic about reaching more than 60 percent of the Indonesian people’s votes,” he said.
